Thailand, the land of smiling faces, vibrant cities, serene temples, and stunning beaches, offers an unforgettable travel experience. Here is a comprehensive itinerary to discover the best of Thailand.

What to do in Malaysia? A 2 week tourguide!

Day 1–2: Kuala Lumpur

Skyscrapers, temples, and street vibes

  • Day 1: Arrival & exploration: visit the iconic Petronas Twin Towers and enjoy the lively atmosphere of Bukit Bintang.
    End the day with a drink at a rooftop bar (e.g. Heli Lounge or SkyBar).

  • Day 2: In the morning, visit the Batu Caves. Then head to Chinatown and Merdeka Square.
    Optional: visit Thean Hou Temple or do some shopping and snacking at Central Market.

📍 Next: Bus or minivan to Kuala Tahan (3–4 hours)

Day 3–4: Taman Negara (via Kuala Tahan)

Deep into the jungle – one of the world’s oldest rainforests

  • Day 3: Arrival and night jungle walk with a guide to discover the rainforest's nocturnal wildlife.

  • Day 4: Full-day adventure in Taman Negara: walk the Canopy Walkway, hike through the jungle, and enjoy a boat ride on the Tembeling River.

📍 Next: Bus to Cameron Highlands (3–4 hours)

Day 5–6: Cameron Highlands

Cool air, rolling hills, and fresh tea

  • Day 5: Visit the BOH Tea Plantation – enjoy fresh tea with panoramic views over the hills.
    In the afternoon, go strawberry picking or explore the market in Brinchang.

  • Day 6: Go trekking in the mystical Mossy Forest – misty, magical, and full of unique plant life.

📍 Next: Bus to Penang (4–5 hours)

Day 7–9: Penang (George Town)

Colorful culture, street art, and incredible food

  • Day 7: Wander through George Town, admire the famous street art, visit temples and Khoo Kongsi.
    Try some street food on Chulia Street or at the Red Garden food court.

  • Day 8: Visit the Kek Lok Si Temple and take the funicular up to Penang Hill for sweeping views.

  • Day 9: Relax on Batu Ferringhi Beach or take a short hike in Penang National Park.

📍 Next: Ferry or short flight to Langkawi (2–3 hours)

Day 10–13: Langkawi

Sun, beach, and nature

  • Day 10: Arrival & relax on Pantai Cenang Beach.
    End the day with a sunset cocktail by the sea.

  • Day 11: Visit the Seven Wells Waterfall (Telaga Tujuh) – a stunning waterfall with natural pools surrounded by jungle. 
    For the active traveler: climb the stairs to the top for a refreshing dip with a view.
    In the evening, head to a local night market for delicious street food and a lively atmosphere.

  • Day 12: Take a boat tour through the mangroves and explore the Kilim Geoforest Park with limestone formations, eagle watching, and caves.
    Tip: Visit a different night market in the evening for new flavors and vibes.

  • Day 13: Go snorkeling or diving at Pulau Payar, a marine park known for its coral reefs and crystal-clear water.
    Wrap up your last night on Langkawi with a final night market visit (e.g. in Kuah or Pantai Cenang).

📍 Next: Flight back to Kuala Lumpur (1 hour)

Day 14: Back in Kuala Lumpur

Final day for relaxation or a quick city stop

  • Do some last-minute souvenir shopping or simply relax before your flight.
    Depending on your schedule, you could still squeeze in a visit to the KL Tower or a local market.
